After School Childcare                                                                                                      

Our After School Childcare runs from 3.15pm - 5.45pm  Tuesdays to Fridays for pupils from both Fairisle Infant & Nursery School and Fairisle Junior School. We can currently take up to 20 children per session but are hoping to increase capacity and also open on Mondays in the near future.

Children are supervised by school staff and are provided with a healthy snack including toast, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurts and fruit juice.

We provide a range of activities from which your child will be able to choose from, such as games, books, toys and art & craft activities.  Children can also play in the garden on play equipment and with outside toys and games.

Staff will also ensure that your child is escorted to the After School Childcare from their class or  Fairisle Junior School Reception.

 

Booking Spaces in the After School Childcare

We offer regular sessions which need to be booked in advance and we require notice to end these sessions. We also offer additional ad hoc sessions to regular attenders and one-off bookings if we have the space availability. 

If there are no spaces available, we will put your child's name on a waiting list.

Please contact the school office if you would like your child to attend After School Childcare. We will ask you to complete an application form and ask you to ensure to add any dietary or medical needs your child may have. You will also need to sign a contract giving details of payment requirements.

 

Paying for After School Childcare

The costs for After School Childcare are as shown below:

Payments must be made using our online payment system, Scopay. You can also utilise Tax Free Childcare and Childcare Vouchers. Please contact the school office for further details.

Payments must be made in advance of your child attending sessions. Placements will be withdrawn and offered to other children on the waiting list if payments are not made promptly.
